Social & Image — One Place for Every Fee

X (Twitter)

FairWins now keeps every platform fee on a single, public price list — each rate under a permanent ceiling no one can raise. Better still: the rate you see at approval rides along as a hard limit, so you can never be charged more than the number on your screen. 🔗 #fintech #transparency #web3

Three features, three different ways of handling fees: a number in the server, a copy in the app, nothing shared. The failure mode writes itself — someone updates one copy, a member approves a screen showing 0.50% while the system charges 0.60%. For a company whose whole pricing philosophy is "you always see the real cost before you approve," a stale number isn't a display bug. It's a broken promise.

FairWins fixed it by making fees a first-class part of the system with a single home. The new post walks through the design:

  • One public, on-chain price list holds every fee — no copy of the number lives anywhere else.
  • Every fee has a permanent ceiling it can never exceed, plus an absolute 2.5% cap on fees FairWins charges directly. Admins can zero a fee instantly; no one can quietly raise a ceiling.
  • The rate you see at approval becomes an enforced limit — if the live rate is higher, the transaction simply stops.
  • Charging is all-or-nothing: the treasury can never keep a fee for a deposit that didn't happen.

Should fee disclosure be enforced by the system itself, or is showing it in the app enough for your users?

Clean modern isometric editorial illustration: a single transparent routing hub — a faceted glass prism or junction box — at the center of the frame, with several thin conduits entering from the left carrying streams of small geometric tokens; inside the hub each stream visibly splits into a large continuing flow and one small measured sliver diverted to a compact vault, the split governed by a fixed physical gate rendered as a solid immovable bar (the hard ceiling). Above the hub floats a minimal open ledger panel with abstract bar marks, implying the rate is displayed before anything moves. Deep navy background with teal gradients and a fine engineering grid; a single warm amber accent illuminates the small diverted sliver and the gate, making the fee path the brightest, most visible element in the scene — nothing hidden. Soft precise studio lighting, crisp edges, minimalist fintech-engineering aesthetic, generous negative space. No text, no logos, no watermarks. Aspect ratio 16:9.
