Social & Image — The AI Reviewer That Reads Every Contract Change¶
X (Twitter)¶
We put an AI security reviewer into our pipeline to read every smart-contract change. The key design call: it can NEVER let code ship. AI output is non-deterministic — a green "AI-passed" badge would be a lie. It's an advisory layer alongside automated scanners, stress-testing + humans. 🔗

An AI will happily "review" your smart contract. The hard part isn't getting findings — it's placing that reviewer in your pipeline so it adds signal instead of noise, and so nobody mistakes its output for a guarantee.
Part 1 of our Security & DevOps series walks through how FairWins adds an AI security reviewer that reads every contract change — alongside, never in place of, the deterministic tooling. What the post covers:
- Why the AI reviewer is advisory only, with no ability to block a change, while the test suite and static scanner are the actual gates (reproducibility is the dividing line).
- How a strict comment template — severity, location, impact, fix, standard — turns a chatty model into a reviewer you can actually act on.
- Scoping it to contract code only, so its comments stay dense and don't get muted.
- An honest accounting of what AI review can't do: confident hallucinations, no guarantee of what it catches, no adversarial reasoning across transactions.
Several layers, each with a different blind spot — static analysis, stress-testing, an AI reviewer, and human audit. The AI is the tireless junior engineer on that team, never the last line of defense.

Image prompt (Gemini / Nano Banana)¶
A clean, modern editorial illustration in isometric style depicting a smart-contract change passing through four distinct inspection stations arranged in a row along a conveyor belt: a rigid geometric scanner grid (deterministic static analysis), a turbulent particle field (stress-testing), a softly glowing translucent lens shaped like a speech bubble that hovers and observes but does not touch the belt (the advisory AI reviewer), and a solid human-scale gatekeeping arch at the end (human review, the real gate). A stylized code block travels left to right; only the final arch has a physical barrier, while the glowing lens leaves gentle annotations floating beside the code. Deep navy and teal base palette with a single warm amber accent used only on the glowing AI lens and its floating notes. Soft directional lighting from upper left, subtle depth and long clean shadows, minimal background, plenty of negative space. No text, no logos, no watermarks. Aspect ratio 16:9.
